Hi, I'm Emma Chapman, and I'm a freshman at Blue Valley West. I've always loved traveling, so when I got my first camera for my birthday about a year ago, I've taken it with me whenever I'm out or doing something fun. When taking photos, I like to focus on taking pictures of things that catch my eye. I like taking nature shots, portraits, landscapes, or anything that interests me at that point and time. This class has taught me more about things I never payed attention to, and also reminded me to use the rule of thirds more often. To me, art can't be defined in words, but it can be expressed and displayed visually and I'm glad I was able to learn that throughout this semester.
